毫无疑问地，Pitchfork的这个名单是非常不错的，包括了我个人的最爱，像：The Fall，Television，XTC，Velvet Underground，Miles Davis，John Coltrane，Iggy Pop and The Stooges，The Clash，The Who，Pavement, Radiohead，Elvis Costello等等，不过也包括了一些我相信很多人听都没有听过的名字－１２ Rods说的就是你了，不要躲！而且我怀疑Pitchfork的员工里没有多少黑人，因为整个单子里仅有的黑人都是玩一种音乐类型的－都是６０年代时期的那几个狂吸毒的天才爵士乐黑人（Coltrane, Davis, James Brown）。
